Extension LP [2e prix]

L’extension propose une solution architecturale maximisant les liens visuels et physiques entre les pièces de vie et le jardin. Le projet prévoit l’aménagement d’une salle de séjour comme lieu central de la vie quotidienne. Cette fonction principale et celles de service qui y sont liées (arrière-cuisine, buanderie et vestiaire) sont organisées autour d’un patio permettant d’éclairer naturellement les pièces au sein des volumes existants et projetés. Il crée également des relations visuelles entre l’ancien et le nouveau, et une connexion plus forte avec l’extérieur. Ce patio, implanté au cœur du projet, est relié au jardin par un escalier extérieur.
En préliminaires de l’intervention, les extensions préexistantes sont partiellement démolies et réorganisées par le nouveau projet. Celui-ci installe la nouvelle pièce de vie dans un niveau intermédiaire entre le corps principal de la maison et le niveau du jardin.
Le ‘’rapport au sol’’ est exprimé par l’utilisation du béton brut comme revêtement et soutènement. La façade côté jardin reçoit un traitement différent afin de s’harmoniser avec la logique des bâtisses voisines : une brique de parement foncée vient intégrer l’annexe au contexte tout en exprimant la massivité du volume.
L’utilisation du bois, pour la structure laissée visible ainsi que pour le revêtement des parois intérieures, unifie complètement l’intervention en n’utilisant qu’un seul et même langage architectural. Les murs rideaux sont équipés de raidisseurs en bois qui s’expriment pleinement, séquencent les transitions et animent les élévations. A l’intérieur du patio, un bardage ajouré en mélèze posé verticalement renforce le sentiment d’intériorité. De larges baies vitrées coulissantes offrent une vision panoramique sur le jardin.

  • Utilisation du bois Le bois, de type SRN, est utilisé pour la structure tant en ossature qu’en charpente de toiture apparente. Le mélèze est utilisé pour les menuiseries extérieures (murs rideaux du patio et double coulissant en façade arrière) ainsi que pour le bardage. Le projet a intégré de manière cohérente l’ensemble des mobiliers réalisés, tout comme les habillages intérieurs, en panneaux de multiplex bouleau.
